A faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences is writing a book on the hereditary system in Islamic jurisprudence

Recently published by Dar Al-Furat for Culture and Information – Iraq – Babylon, in partnership with Dar Sama for printing, publishing and distribution, a book entitled The Inheritance System in Islamic Jurisprudence, a Comparative Study. Authored by the lecturer in the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles, Professor Dr. Nahida Jalil Al-Ghalbi.

In her book, she indicated that the Islamic Sharia stipulated the provisions of inheritance according to a fair and integrated system through which the wealth of the deceased is distributed to his family.

This book included five chapters to explain the rulings related to inheritance and the five schools of thought. Its authoring lasted three years, which included several chapters. The inheritance system was dealt with according to what was mentioned in the jurisprudential books of the two teams, from linguistic and terminological definitions and why it was called the science of inheritance or impositions, then what is philosophy The system of inheritance was the presentation of opinions according to each doctrine, starting with the jurisprudence of inheritance at the Imamiyyah, and then the four schools adopted today, which are the most famous in comparative studies, with mentioning the evidence for each opinion of the doctrines in most cases, whether from the Holy Qur’an or from the honorable Sunnah, the use of the sources of each doctrine from their books And the opinions of their scholars, with mentioning some applications from the legacy system for most of the topics mentioned in the book.
