College of Islamic Sciences Organizes Training Course on Project Plan Development to Empower Students and Graduates

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al-Taie, the Career Development and Employment Unit at the college held a three-day training course titled “Developing a Project Plan.” The course was attended by a number of students and recent graduates.

The sessions were delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Layla Saadallah, Dr. Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad, and Dr. Amal Abdul Mohsen, who guided participants through the steps of creating a comprehensive project plan. The course included developing a detailed document outlining the project’s objectives, scope, available resources, timeline, budget, and potential risks.

Key topics also included market analysis, risk assessment, work structure design, resource allocation, scheduling, communication planning, and defining success criteria.

The course aimed to enhance students’ and graduates’ skills in professionally preparing project plans aligned with labor market demands, thereby improving their employability prospects. Participants praised the quality of the content, organization, and the expertise of the lecturers.
