
Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Aboud Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, participated in the periodic meeting of the Association for Specialized Studies Between the Seminary and University, representing the University of Karbala. The meeting was held at the association’s headquarters in Najaf al-Ashraf.
The discussions focused on enhancing epistemological integration between the Islamic seminary (hawza) and academic institutions, and proposed new mechanisms to activate joint intellectual and scientific projects that serve the concerns of the nation and society. The meeting also emphasized the pivotal role of both institutions in addressing contemporary intellectual and cultural challenges.
Dr. Al-Taie’s participation reflects the University of Karbala’s commitment to engaging with reputable scientific and intellectual institutions and its dedication to fostering collaboration between the seminary and university. This collaboration aims to achieve epistemic integration that reinforces authentic Islamic identity through a rigorous academic approach.
