
The College of Islamic Sciences held a solemn memorial gathering to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Sayyida Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her), shedding light on her eloquence, virtues, and spiritual legacy.
The event featured religious and cultural segments that reflected the depth of love and reverence for the Noble Lady of Islam, emphasizing her pivotal role in defending the message of her father, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), and her steadfastness in upholding truth and justice.
During the gathering, participants presented recitations, lectures, and poetic performances that portrayed aspects of the life of Sayyida Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her), highlighting her wisdom, faith, and sacrifice.
The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hussein Aboud Al-Taee, praised the efforts of the organizers for reviving such blessed occasions, stressing that commemorating Sayyida Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) strengthens the values of faith, morality, and resistance to injustice among students and the academic community.
This event comes within the college’s ongoing commitment to promoting the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and to integrating spiritual awareness with academic pursuit in building a faithful and enlightened generation.
