The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Aboud Al-Taie, attended—representing the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali—the inauguration ceremony of the College of Engineering and Information Technology building at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Women, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein.

The ceremony also witnessed the opening of the overpass connecting the university buildings on the Baghdad Road, held on the sidelines of the activities of the International Spring of Martyrdom Festival, with the participation of a number of academic, religious, and official figures.

The Dean’s attendance comes within the framework of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation with universities and educational institutions affiliated with the holy shrines, and supporting scientific and cultural events that contribute to advancing the academic and developmental reality of the country.
