The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala held a postgraduate seminar for Master’s and PhD students, attended by a number of faculty members and graduate students. The event comes as part of the department’s commitment to strengthening research skills and developing mechanisms for preparing rigorous scientific research.

The seminar included a detailed explanation of how to select a research title and outlined the academic standards that should be considered when formulating it in a way that aligns with the student’s precise specialization and academic pathway. It also provided practical guidance on preparing a research plan using a clear methodological approach that helps organize scholarly effort and achieve accurate and objective results.

Emphasis was also placed on the importance of identifying the research gap as a fundamental step in building a study.
