With the aim of educating professors and students on how to deal with risks, fires, and their interaction, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a training workshop on occupational safety. The workshop was presented by Major Thamer, a representative from the Civil Defense Directorate in the holy Karbala, who provided the attendees with important guidelines regarding occupational safety.

It is worth mentioning that occupational safety is a very important field of knowledge that aims to protect workers in various institutions from potential accidents that may result in injuries, fatalities, and damages or losses to the institution’s property.
