The Master’s thesis titled “The Interpretive Efforts of the Ardabil Scholar in his Book ‘Majma’ al-Fa’idah wa al-Burhan'” was discussed at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala. The defense took place in the Imam Hussein (AS) Hall of the college.
This study focused on shedding light on the interpretive efforts of a prominent scholarly figure known for his expertise in investigation, verification, mysticism, ethics, miracles, and revelations. Through this focal point, several scientific objectives were achieved, including highlighting the significance of Quranic sciences among the scholars of the Ahl al-Bayt school of thought. It also aimed to demonstrate how Quranic texts are employed in understanding Islamic legal rulings, deriving legal principles, and benefiting from the biography of the revered Ardabil scholar in explaining a pivotal stage in the development of jurisprudence, principles, and interpretation within the Ahl al-Bayt school of thought.
The thesis defense committee consisted of the following members:
- Professor Dr. Dhirgham Al-Mousawi from the University of Karbala, College of Islamic Sciences, as the Chairman.
- Assistant Professor Dr. Butul Mohammed Hussein from the Directorate of Education in Al-Karkh, Baghdad, as a member.
- Professor . Shahid Eid Al-Zahra from the University of Karbala, College of Islamic Sciences, as a member.
- Professor Dr. Hamid Jasim Aboud from the University of Karbala, College of Islamic Sciences, as a member and supervisor.
